Collect reasons, not just ratings
The method
Collect reasons, not just ratings
Feedback becomes more useful when its task context and reasons are preserved.
When to use it
- Model behavior varies and satisfaction is hard to reduce to a score.
Ask yourself
- We have likes and dislikes. How do we use them?
Put it into action
- Group desired changes by failure type, turn the main patterns into reproducible cases, and check improvements and regressions.
Keep these limits in mind
- Feedback may overrepresent extremes. Follow current notices and authorization; historical data policies are not present promises.
